No Oil Chicken

Ingredients for Paneer

  • Boneless chicken cubes – ½ kg
  • Ginger paste – 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Green chilli paste – 1 tsp or to taste
  • Lemon grass – 3 stalks
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice – ¼ cup
  • Roasted and powdered jeera 2 tsp
  • Chopped hara dhania 2 tbsp

 

Steps to be followed

  • Marinate chicken for 2-3 hours
  • Place the marinated chicken in a kadahi and saute over high heat till it looks opaque
  • Lower the heat, cover partially and saute till tender and moist. In case there is excess liquid, remove the chicken pieces and decrease the liquid by cooking over high heat, before replacing the chicken again and heating through. Discard the lemon grass
  • Serve, garnished with the jeera and hara dhania.You can increase the quantity of spices if desired
